9 days of free ebay listings and final value fee discounts

I opened up an eBay message on my phone this morning and was pleased to find that we have NINE days worth of free listings!!

From October 18th until midnight on the 26th October 2015.

Ebay are giving us 100 listings to use over the next week and a bit and that’s not all, they’re giving us final value fee discounts too!

It seems to depend who you are as to what final value fee discounts you will get. Over my threw accounts I have two 50% discounts and one 75% discount.

The account which I received the 75% discount was the most active of my accounts in the last few weeks and I speculate this may be the reason for the enhanced offer.

You should log in to check which offer you got and don’t forget that you need to accept the offer in order to take advantage of it.

Terms and conditions can be found here, although they are specific to the 75% offer.

What will you list in the next nine days?

100 Free eBay Listings until 5th October 2015

Just a quick post today as I’m finding I have less and less time to post at the moment but there is currently an eBay promotion running until the 5th October.

I believe everyone who’s account is in good standing is eligible and you can find out if you have the offer by looking at my article here.

Terms and conditions can be found here and you need to opt in to take advantage.

Final Summer Fling with 100 Free eBay Listings 26th to 31st August 2015

Starting NOW you have until midnight on 31st August 2015 to get listing.  Ebay new promotion which seems to have gone to everyone is centred around the end of the summer. As if we need reminding ebay!

They have even brought out a new set of graphics featuring deck chairs with Union Jack cushions on to illustrate this.

It’s an extended promotion meaning you have six whole days to take action.  I personally would recommend either starting your auctions on Thursday or a Friday at 3 day auctions to take advantage of them ending on either Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday evenings. Or if you want two weekends of eyeballs on your listings then start on Thursday and use 10 day auctions!

There are the usual terms and conditions and you have to opt in to receive the listings.

It will likely be that after this that ebay will revert back to their usual biweekly promotional schedule meaning that your next chance for free listings will not be until 13th September 2015.

So the choice is yours enjoy the last remaining days of the school holidays in the sunshine or do some listing! Of course the weather could always make that decision for us!

100 Free eBay Listings August 16th to 18th Invite Only

I received an email this morning inviting me to take advantage of 100 free eBay listings this morning. Only on one of my eBay accounts however.

This means I’ve had some kind of offer on at least one of my accounts for the last month.  I think eBay are shaking up their free listings promotions as there isn’t as far as I can see any pattern to which of my accounts receive the promotion.

They’re also getting lazy as they’re using the same graphics for each one.

It’s opt in so you need to accept the offer and its for both auction and buy it now style listings.

You can check out the terms and conditions or learn how to check if you have the offer.

100 Free eBay Listings 4th to 10th August 2015

I think this offer is invite only as it had only landed on one of my accounts, but its definitely worth checking to see if you have an offer sat in your inbox.

This offer for 100 free auction style or fixed price with best offer began on 4th August but I have only just on the 6th seen it pop into my eBay messages and I didn’t get an email at all!

It’s opt in so don’t forget to accept and it runs until midnight on Monday 10th August.

I plan on starting as many 10 day auctions as possible today (Thursday) and then stacking up some drafts in my eBay app to set live on Sunday for 7 day auctions, that way everything will end on Sunday 16th August.

Happy listing and if you didn’t get an invite, don’t worry, the weekend is just around the corner and there may well be more promotions to come!

100 zero insertion fee listings 2nd to 4th August 2015

Bucking the recent trend of a free listings promotion every other week eBay has another 100 free listings from now until midnight 4th August 2015.

Terms and conditions can be found here.

It’s an opt in offer so you need to accept before listing or you’ll eat into your free monthly listings.

Sorry for the short post today!

Free eBay listings 22nd to 27th July 2015

Sorry to be a little bit late with this news, I know quite a few people who read this blog and follow me on Twitter use it as their primary source of free listing info! I’ve been at a wedding this week and haven’t had chance to post.

So as you may or may not already be aware we are in the middle of a 6 day free eBay listings promotion!  Listings began on 22nd July and run through until midnight on the 27th.

Opt in
As usual you need to opt in to accept the free listings, otherwise anything you list will come out of your monthly allowance or you’ll be charged for it.

You may list either auction style or fixed price with best offer. Regular fixed price listings will be charged in the normal way. Full terms and conditions can be found here.

6 day promotion
I’m not sure why this particular promotion is 6 days long but had I not been away I would have certainly taken advantage of that and listed some 10 day auctions beginning on Thursday to end the following Sunday. Giving two weekends of exposure.

It’s late on Saturday but you have all of Sunday and Monday to take advantage of the promotion.

100 Zero Insertion Fee eBay Listings 12th to 14th July 2015

Just a quick post, from now until midnight on the 14th July you have 100 free listings at either auction style or fixed price.

You need to opt in to take advantage as usual. Dont do what I did 2 weeks ago and list 20 things and wonder why you had to pay for the rest! I forgot to opt in!

Check your email, eBay messages or log in and look for the prompt and if you still can’t find the offer, check the post I did on how to accept eBay free listings for instructions.

Terms and conditions exist as always.

How to find eBay Listing Promotions on ebay.co.uk

If you are a regular follower of this blog you may know that I write a short post every time there is a new eBay free listings promotion.  The reason I do this is because it isn’t always obvious when these promotions are.  To eBay’s credit they do email you, send an ebay message and sometimes have a pop up when logging in, but not always.

I recently had a comment from Mrs Murray with a question:

Mrs Murray Comment

In a nutshell Mrs Murray and no doubt countless others are finding it difficult to access and take advantage of the listing promotions lately.  It used to be easy to take advantage as you were automatically opted in, you didn’t have to do anything other than list items but nowadays you need to opt in and it’s not always obvious where to do that!

There are a few ways of doing it, the easiest way to do it is to look for a message which ebay may have sent you.  Either to your email inbox or to your ebay messages inbox.  The subject will generally be something like “Accept the offer and get up to 100 free listings”.  There will be some information about how the listing promotion works and generally a link to click which will opt you in to the promotion.

For whatever reason if this doesn’t work, or isn’t an option there are two more ways which I have used in the past to opt in.

Step 1: Log into ebay

Once you have logged in there may be a promotions screen which appears telling you of the promotion, if there is, brilliant, just click the picture and you will be opted into the promotion.

Step 2: Hover over My eBay to display the options

Step 3: Select Selling

From the drop down list select “Selling” to take you to the selling page, you might have to select “All Selling” from the next page.HowToFindPromotion02

Step 4: Scroll Down

Step 5: Keep scrolling

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.

Step 6: Get Offer

Click get offer and bobs your uncle, you have now accepted the offer and the promotion is live!

I hope this helps, if you have any other questions don’t hesitate to leave a comment below and thanks to Mrs Murray for the question!
